First things first, cut the lash strip to size, carefully measure the false lashes against your own lash line and trim the length of the strip with scissors, (cut the inner side rather than outer).
Hold the lash with tweezers and load glue onto the strip, if confident you can do this direct from tube/brush, onto the strip, or you can place some of the glue onto the back of your hand to gently dip the strip into.
This next step is key, wait 10-30 seconds (depending on the glue), until it becomes tacky, if you try to apply to the lash line too soon, the strip may slip and move around, creating a whole sticky situation.
Now you are ready to carefully place the strip onto your eye, as close to your natural lash line as possible and allow them to stick in place applying a small amount of pressure.
False lashes can be tricky for first time users, but don't give up, it's worth it in the end. The more you apply the easier it will come.
- All of Helen Dowsley Lashes are made from synthetic fibres, we would never work with a company that used animals such as mink for their lashes, not matter what their cruelty-free claims are - no way!
